Our kitesurfing center is nestled among the palm trees on the southernmost tip of Lamu Island off the coast of Kenya in East Africa. Here you will find 6 beautiful, private Cabanas on a 12 kilometer stretch of secluded beach, perfect for kitesurfing.

For us it's always been about the experience. We designed an off-grid retreat powered purely by the sun and the wind with little to no use of chemicals and plastic. A space to immerse ourselfes in the healing nature of our island, where we can share our love of yoga, wellness, kitesurfing, food and the beauty of mindful living. We pride ourselves on being a bespoke kitesurfing school, with a culture that favors quality over quantity and appreciates that ‘it's all in the experience’.

We offer yoga and massage at the retreat to complement and balance our hours on the water. We also offer wakeboarding, skiing, donuting, kneeboarding, island and village tours, and fly fishing. Our most unique experience is exploring the Lamu Archipelago by sailing.  Grab your kitesurfing gear and escape the world under the sails of our much loved Kilindini Dhow. Explore the Lamu island Archipelago in comfort and style, stopping at hidden gems along the way. Surrender to the simple life, BBQ the catch of the day on deserted beaches, sleep under the stars and let the rhythm of the tides and trade winds take you on an experince where the journey is more important than the destination.

STAY ON LAMU ISLAND

The school is located in The Cabanas, which offer cool, comfortable accommodation for families, couples or singles – each cabana has its own large double netted bed, bathroom and private terrace: some are made entirely of palm thatch, others with raised coral foundations. Carefully sited to allow for maximum privacy, the cabanas are surrounded by indigenous trees, shrubs and birdsong. Situated on an elevated sand dune at the centerof a long beach, the cabanas share an elevated pool and dining area with panoramic views of the channel and oacean, where our chefs serve a delicious daily menu.
